Clown fish problem / no problem?

Happy New Year all!
my clown fish has suddenly turned his tail end white band to a dark gray colour. Otherwise seems fine. Recently lost his female partner in medicated hospital tank. Any ideas appreciated.

my clown fish has suddenly turned his tail end white band to a dark gray colour. Otherwise seems fine. Recently lost his female partner in medicated hospital tank. Any ideas appreciated.

Can be due to stress. what tankmates you have? Mine does that when it was alone in the tank i.e, it was the only fish in the tank. Also feed it well may be a health issue but as you say it is acting normal so won't be your case. Also provide more pics.

Thanks, yes he lost his female partner a couple weeks ago so maybe stressed on his own
