I have had my pair of Clown Fish for about 8 years. The last 3 days my female is refusing to eat and is not moving from her "home" in some Zoa's. She has always slept in them and has always refused anyone else to go near. Her mate is eating but seems to be almost standing guard and never goes far from her. It's been 3 days now that I have noticed she is letting food go past her and refuses to leave her home. Could she have laid some eggs or is this a sign of illness? Her other tank mates are 6 various Tangs, but they never really bother her. She still looks very healthy, doesn't look like she has lost weight, but after 3 days I'm getting a little worried!

Might be eggs, but I generally don’t worry about clownfish of all things when they don’t eat.

You can check the rocks when the zoas close up and night, the eggs hatch in about a week
