Clown fish.

Is it normal for clown fish to stay in a corner all the time? Ever since I put them in the tank they have stayed there. They don’t really free roam.

They probably assume the corner is their host… Totally normal :)
If you want to try get them out of the corner you can always try to give them a coral to act as their host such as Frogspawn, Hammer, Mushrooms (Ricordea are a big favourite of them), Zoas, Frammer, Octospawn, Torch, ect…
 
My clowns stayed in the upper left hand corner of my first tank for almost a year. Now that they’re in a new tank they’ve been exploring a lot more but still favor the corners
 
Clowns often pick a spot and stay there, yes. But do make sure nothing is bullying them into being unable to leave the corner.
