Clown Goby Lifespan?

To revisit an old topic from 19 years ago on another forum, does anyone know how long these little guys live? Some sites online (take it with a bucket of salt) say 5 years, but mine is 9-10 years old at this point. His name is Gobias. I feel like I should be prepared for a natural death sometime but he seems just fine!

This article might be helpful. Delbeck doesn't have a maximum age wild specimens of for your goby but he notes a realated species has a much longer life expectancy in captivity than in the wild.

Sort of a hard one to answer as it will depend on type of tank, health of the tank, diet, low stress and water quality

Old thread but what ever.

Mine just died had him 9+ years.
Was a Citron Goby not sure that matters as their life span about the same.
