Do clown gobies need an SPS coral to lay in, or will they be fine without. I just recently bought one and I’m curious.

Are the clown gobies jumpers?I have a Lemon Clown Goby in my tank, no SPS. It's fine. Perches on other corals, poweheads, etc.
Also I just recently had a giant explosion of copepods hopefully he will eat some of those also.I have a Lemon Clown Goby in my tank, no SPS. It's fine. Perches on other corals, poweheads, etc.

Thankyou for your help!!!Never seen mine swim too fast, nor seem to want to jump. It's kinda mellow.
Mine eats dry/frozen (mixes of different stuff). When I put Nori in for the Tangs and Fox Face the Goby will eat some of that too.
Not sure about pods.
Just ordered a Xenia from the live sale should be here Tuesday also ordered some other corals including Platygyra Astreopora And some ZoanthidsNot needed. They like to nestle within a comfortable object. They like hiding amongst polyps but also enjoy leathers, xenia and other softies
