I seem to remember a clown hosting a torch is not a good thing. I can't remember why. Maybe I'm not remembering this right. I have a clown who's hosting my new torch and I'm not sure what to do. This torch wasn't exactly inexpensive I would hate to lose it.

The clowns could irritate it to death but some torches tolerate it

My clowns call a frogspawn home. While it grows, they did decide one polyp head was not worthy and ripped it out. They lay eggs on its skeleton. Otherwise its been hosting the clowns for many years and does great besides that one instance.

My 2 clowns always harass my torch. Torch hates it. Doesn’t want to open up fully. Sometimes it’ll retract its tentacles all the way down and one clown will live between the heads. However, I noticed that both clowns seem to have lockjaw from nipping at the tentacles. Also, I noticed some green heads on the bottom of my tank which I’m assuming are the ends of the torch. Seems not so much like a symbiotic relationship. I even removed the torch and moved to a different rock. Didn’t help, clowns still went for it.
