Just treated for flatworms earlier and done a 20% water change and put in carbon and vacuumed out everything we could see. We have been watching the ammonia and was holding at zero. Ammonia spiked and a clown is struggling pretty bad. We just added some prime and done another emergency 20% WC. Recommendations? Should I pull them and try to acclimate to my other tank?

API was the quickest kit to grab upstairs.

Prime and water change sound like you're on the right path. What symptoms are your clown showing?

If you have access to it, a bath in methylene blue helps with ammonia burn

At this point this is all we have. We haven't ordered anything else yet. We haven't used any of them, they were sold to my wife as a cure all. We know how that works....or doesn't.

Ammonia is coming back down.

Methelyn blue would be worth the investment, I agree this sounds and looks to be ammonia burn.

Some fritz turbo start 9000 or BioSpira secondarily will speed along the cycling process.

Prime until then. Sorry for the trouble :(

How much surface agitation does your tank have, start by creating more surface agitation to promote oxygen exchange, if the clown in fact has ammonia burn it's going to be breathing very fast, the more o2 you can get in the water the better

I appreciate the help folks, hopefully he pulls through. The other clown and yellow goby are doing fine, haven't spotted the wrasse yet.
