I can turn the catch section 90 degrees and get better flow but I will need to put the siev back on. What micro should I use? 53, 120ish, 250, 850? Feel like the 53 is small and will reduce flow.
Hmm... I suppose you can try in about a month. Once parents get going, they are like clockwork. They will lay eggs in about two weeks or so. Babies are much larger than baby brine shrimp. They are a little smaller than adult brine shrimp.
My DIY catch container with a piece of pantyhose. The green sponge filter tube is attached to the coke bottle with rubber band. Quite a RubeGoldberg, I know, but it worked.

Baby brine shrimp is much smaller than a clownfish fry. Clownfish fry is pale white or almost clear and about 1/8 to 3/16 inches long. BBS swims in a fast jerky motion. Clownfish fry tends to move slowly and does not swim around much. It does strike at food fast, though.
