Hey!
I just got my clownfish yesterday, so they've been in the tank for 24 hours. They were already paired and had been at the fish store for a few months together.

My question is, they rub against eat other sometimes. One will mainly do it to the other and they'll swap back and forth. I'm assuming it's normal but I wanted to make sure. Thank you!

Yep its completely normal if not a good sign. What you are seeing is them 'deciding' who will become the dominant one hence the female or reaffirming this role. Sometimes you will also see one shiver to the extent of looking like it is having a seizure this is also just a part of this. I would only worry about it if one starts to get injured or stops eating

Okay good. Yeah they seem pretty young and close to the same size except one being a little bigger than the other. I haven't seen them do the shaking thing yet, but I was watching them and they just rubbed. No biting or anything. They do stay very close to each other. Thank you ☺️
