Clown running into nem

So i discovered if i point a laser into the tank, my wyoming whites chase the laser....
So i been trying to get the clown by 1 of my nems... She chases the laser into the nem and just hovers over the nem...
She does touch it with her fin and her face if she tries to pec at the laser but she isn't really in the nem.

So she does touch the nem here and there, but still doesn't show interest after that...

I've tried this too with no luck. Maybe I was trying it when they were sad clowns and not happy clowns...

Just let nature take its course.

Depending on the species of anemone (( S. haddoni comes to mind )) you could end up with an eaten clown if it isn't ready to be hosted.

Since it's never guaranteed that a clown will host an anemone I've had the luck that I will just place the Anemone in the tank and both clowns went nuts over it. Never needed a special trick. It's awesome to see the clown deliver the food to the anemone. They will get a chunk of food and take it over to the anemone.
