Clown trigger fish

those are one of the coolest looking fish imo. I love triggers but went the safe route with a blue jaw. Still a really cool fish, just not as striking as a clown or picasso trigger

i just added a 1.5" clown to my reef on 6/19. So far hasn't eaten anything he isn't supposed to and i don't suspect he will till her gets bigger. Ill post back when he goes berserk. i know he will at some point, but for right now he is an awesome little devil.

I say enjoy the little devil. I will get the next clown that my lfs gets in stock.

TSM Aquatics is where i got mine. they still have them. I would highly recommend them. they fully QT their fish. I have received 4 fish from them and would recommend them to anyone.

Trigger has easily grown a half an inch in a month. Been good so far.

To document growth rate. He is a good 3" now. Yellow around face all but gone with typical orange lips. White spots on top of body starting to go away. Killed a snail that fell on the sand, but otherwise, he is been good!

At 1:00 my clown trigger just dives in after the eel to fight for some squid...

Yep. Mine had the yellow around the mouth. It’s gone now. He is growing much faster than I thought.
