Hey guys, my clown fish is acting weird, or so I think. The tank used to be a peninsula setup and I have changed it to the more typical viewing angle so thats why you see algae on that left panel. I am removing it slowly every couple days. Well now, my clown fish swim very rapidly against the glass where there isn't algae on that side only. I've had them for many months and never seen them act like this. I'm not sure if it's normal or not. Is the tank too small for them?

Here is a video, sorry about the quality, I had to take it from far away to catch them.

I see fish do this when stressed. Maybe look for aggression between fish. I see it when newly moved to new tank and not settled in yet.

There are only two clowns in this tank. Sometimes they act paired, sometimes they don't. It's confusing.
Mine do have that problem and they have been in new tank for 3 weeks now act like there paired then act like they hate each other on opposite side of the tank from one another. Guess it's a troubled marriage

Haha, can we offer them some counseling? Just kidding, are they similar in size? Mine are pretty similar in size. One is clearly the bigger and stronger one, but it takes a sec to figure it out. I feel like when I goto the LFS their pairs are much more different in size.
