I’ve been monitoring one of my clowns for the past few days in regards to at least one of his gills looking flared. I’m unsure of whether or not it can be attributed to shipping stress as they’ve already been in the tank for 2 weeks ar this point. When I compare the gills to my other clown they don’t sit as flushed to the body as the other. Apart from that though he is swimming and eating well and no other fish seem to have the same problem.

The only tank inhabitants at the moment are the two clowns and a firefish. Water parameters have been consistent and I’ve been testing every 1-2 days.
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: ~10ppm
pH: 7.8-8.0
Salinity : 1.022-1.023

When the fish came in the salinity was almost exactly the same so after float acclimating the bags I introduced them to the tank. Everything has been feeding and behaving normally and I don’t see any other signs of disease. They came in pre-quarantined from Dr. Reef. I’ve also attached the best photos I could, any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Did the fish arrive looking like that?
Flared gills is a pretty common developmental problem with captive raised clownfish.

Yes the clown came in looking like that, I missed it initially due to inexperience on my part but I do have video of it looking the same when they first same in. I've also been in contact with Dr. Reef about it and was told to just monitor for the time being but I wanted to be sure.

Could it possibly be swelling from flukes infesting the gill and causing it to protrude?

Perhaps, but I don't see that myself. And then, there would also be rapid breathing.
