Love to see you make the harem successful. I have a nem tank with 8 clownfish but would like to overload with a huge harem as well; however, I’ve heard that they won’t last — eventually a few will be dominant and kill the weaklings.

I found the same at first. After the BRS guys did it successfully for several years and a few other hobbyist.

It’s going to be one of my ultimate achievements as I have also bought a baby set of clowns to grow out and birth my clutch while my BTA’s multiply.

Got a super expensive clown as well!

My hope is for 60+ nems. Figure the fish are a min of a year out to starting to lay eggs and I would assume they would need a few clutches before you try to raise one.

Current nem count: 3 WWC Darth Vaders, and 9 nexus burst. Long way to go….

Hoping to come across a nexus burst rock. They really like to multiply in acro tanks

New addition!!

WWC sent a huge piece of cosmic candy bounce that I paid for! Very impressed with the size.

Came in cracked on the bottom and would kind of wave / wiggle. So I went ahead and took a scalpel and cut through the skin.

Here are my now two massive pieces!!!

Once I setup my new frag tank I will be cutting this bad boy up even more. One to keep and many to grown and sell.

Can’t believe I haven’t snapped a pic of my pair. They are currently in another tank that now houses my beautiful carpet anemone. I figure one day they will not be welcome in the harem!!

Nope! Here is the parents.

Will be ready to start laying eggs in 6 months.

I’m going to start fragging my nems. Should have a good number.

Excited to breed the clowns and also will save a couple to a few grand on fish.
