My female clownfish currently has an open gash on her body. I saw this yesterday and isolated her in a breeder net that just broke. She and her mate are currently guarding eggs and was a little too feisty with one of my tangs. Should this continue to heal on its own? Should I remove the clowns from the tank even though they are currently guarding eggs? I have the ability to put them in a different tank but I’m not sure if that will shock them too much with having a clutch of eggs.

I would have a quarantine tank ready to run antibiotics in. There is a very good chance that a wound like that will get infected
