Recently lost my smaller male orange storm clown.. from posting here Edema was a very good diagnosis of cause of death. The larger female clown tended to be a bit of a bully. How should I go about replacing the one I lost? Same breed? Make sure next one is smaller? Any advice is appreciated in advance.

Smaller is kind of the right idea, but what you need is a young juvenile fish, and yes the same breed is your best bet for having them understand each others behavioral cues. That said, if she doesn't like the young fish then it probably won't do much better than the last one.
