Clownfish Spitting at the Surface

Mine are doing the exact same thing. It appears the larger (female) is creating a bubble that the smaller (male) then attacks or tries to eat. Appears to be a bit playful. Both clowns are under a year old.
 
My two clowns are over three years old, and they click, chirp, pop and grind their teeth - sometimes at the surface, sometimes not. I'll keep an eye out for the bubble popping - I haven't seen that yet.
