Is it normal for a clown to grab a hunk of food and swim off back to its shelter? ‍ I have two in quarantine and they seem to be paired, I don’t ever see them fighting or fighting over food even. They have the QT to themselves and they both eat really well. The little one just always grabs a hunk of food, takes it back to their claimed spot and then comes back out and eats more. ‍

Actually if you have an anemone hosting a clown.... its really cool to watch the clown go out into the open swimming area, grab food and bring it back to the anemone and drop the food inside the anemone. It's a food share relationship

It’s not an anemone. They’re in quarantine with plastic shelter lol I wish it was!
