My clam is about 6” and doing great. Have had it for a few months. I also have a pair of clowns that I’ve had for several months. They never were interested in the clam which was in their area until about a week ago. Now they are all over the clam and give him lots of rubbing and nudging. The clam sometimes doesn’t react since they have acclimated with him but others times he reacts and quickly closes a bit.

Has anyone else had this happen? Long term effect to clam?

I’ve printed a cover to keep the clowns out but of course it isn’t very attractive. And they have figured out how to get in so I have another one ready to try.

This relationship happens all the time, especially if the clowns don't have a suitable host elsewhere in the tank.
