Still deciding on a stock for my tank, but I was curious what the consensus was on clownfish. Do you notice a difference in stocking a single clown, or in pairs?
For reference I have a IM nuvo 20. I have always had clowns in pairs, but not sure if I want to fo that again, I also don’t want to make the poor choice of getting one now and adding another later.
Sorry for a beaten topic, just curious. Cheers!

Either one is fine. Adding one later also works. I had a pair and the male died. Several months later I added a new smaller one. She chased him around for about a day and then it she was fine with him. These were percula clowns.

I've had them solo, and also in pairs. Personally I prefer in pairs, but its totally up to you, there is no right or wrong
