I'm thinking reef clubs aren't too popular in Alabama. NARC isn't a functioning club anymore, either.

I joined the Lousiana Reef Club (Bayou Reefkeeping) on Facebook because our local club in Pensacola hasn't done much of anything in over a year. You're closer to them than I am so you may get more out of it.

MBRK.com, Mobile Bay Reef Keepers. I am the original owner and maintainer of the website. The site needs some activity and it would help if the locals would form back up a reef club.

What is sad is how active our club was during the inception. It only took one hurricane to wipe out a lot of our tanks, most of us never got back into the hobby.

I would love to be involved in some way. Maybe start small and get the backing of one of the smaller shops like Oceans Corals, etc.

What was wild was going back through all our old photos back when the club actually started. We had some great times at different locations, even parties at the local shops. Good times!!

I would love to meet some folks. I have a nano but plans to go a bit bigger in the near future.

I lost nothing, but I do not plan to start. I just got out of the hobby for cost and the club fizzled out.
