I have about a dozen aussie scolymia but one of them recently won't stick/react to food. At night it extends its tentacles like normal but if I touch fish, shrimp or anything to feed it... nothing - it doesn't react to the touch to capture and feed. The others react immediately.

Any ideas?

Nematocysts were off (they are a one time us) and need to regrow. Sometimes when stressed corals and anemones can discharge their nematocysts and take time to regenerate them. Not super sure for LPS corals but I assume its the same. Hopefully someone else might be able to give a positive explanation
