So i use the BRS Co2 scrubber and media, and everything works well the way i have it hooked up. The media lasts an average of 2 months, regular ph readings of 8.2-8.5. Even gets up to 8.6 every once in a while.... my question is, are there any tips or tricks to get the Co2 media to "scrub" at a more even rate? Every time it seem like one side of the cartridge gets more air flow than the other

I don't have any suggestions, but it could be that the more used side is the current path of least resistance and will change each time you refill it.

Im wondering if the angle of the canister make a difference... i know moisture will build up on the front side more than the back (possible cause). And eventually will add a drain tube to reduce moisture build up

this happens to me, too. however i have the co2 media container at and angle so i assume the moisture collects at that corner
