CO2 Scrubber recommendations

Currently have an Icecap K1 skimmer. I want to slap in a small CO2 scrubber in my sump to and run it for a week or two to see how much it affects my tank. Does anyone have any good recommendations that won’t break the bank? I have a 40 gallon so I figured an ice cap nano or medium would be ideal but I have no idea how to set up a co2 scrubber. I’m not a fan on how that specific scrubber needs something to hang off of.

Looks I don’t mind. It’s all going below in the sump. Would prefer if any could either go in the water as it’ll most likely sit or hang in the very back or ontop of something

BRS stuff is the cheapest. I see no reason why it can't sit in the water. Those canisters can probably survive a nuclear blast.
