Cockscombs, Gunnels, and Warbonnets

I quite like the look of these small, US-native, eel-like fish, but I have no desire to ever run a chiller. Are there tropical species as well?

So very cool, I have never even seen these, I've been in the hobby more than 30 years. Have you ever even seen one offered? The warbonnet reminds of some scorps, but without the eel body.

I used to catch the cockscomb and gunnels in tidepools growing up. I've never seen them for sale. Perhaps I could look into keeping them in a room temp tank.

If you catching them in tide pools, then I'm sure they can live in tropical temps.

Trust me, we get even weirder names over here! I mean the shanny is one of them, with that name you’d never think it’s actually in the family blenniidae.
