Living in Hawaii, I have the unique opportunity to collect my own aquarium fish. I'd love to go out looking for some Scarface Blenny and maybe catch a few, but the areas that I've heard they live in don't have any barnacles, rather holes in the reef rock that the blennies hide in.

What's the best way to coax them out of their holes into a net?

Perhaps something along the lines of a craft store pipecleaner? Although slurp gun sounds way cooler- Interested to see what others say
