So with the house move finally done and the 90 coming down, I picked up my first brand newly purchased tank. This will mainly house my squamosa clam, but I hope to do an rbta and a little mix of very few frags.

What's a tank thread without a picture

What makes this tank a lagoon? How is it different from the fusions?
It's essentially a wider fusion 20. The footprint for this tank is 24x19x12

Update:
Stand is in house and being painted right now. I decided on a 24x24x40 stand. I've always wished for a small counter in front of my tank, and now, I shall have one! Haha

I'm following, this is a nice tanks bro. I'm getting the lagoon 50 in 2 weeks. That 25 you got is beautiful.

I almost went with the 50 but I really liked the dimensions of this one for a certain spot in the house. Stand is oversized because I wanted a small workspace in front.

Going very slow, and doing everything I wish I had done with my big tank

40 lbs is good enough, I'll be going with 40 as well on my 50 just a bit undecided with what sand I'll be going with. I've never had a problem with natures ocean it's great sand but I think I want to explore a little more. Got any recent pics?

So pieces are slowly falling into place.

Lighting will be a reef breeders value fixture from a fellow member

Heater will be a finnex 100w titanium

We also got in some AMAZING mangroves into the shop I work at. Multiple 6" roots and 2+ leaves on each. I am definitely looking for some opinions on display mangroves

Flow will come from 2 3rd gen koralias and a controller that I happened to win on this very forum!

And that's all for now. Nothing is set up as of yet. I'm hoping around Xmas to have all I need to start cycling

Thanks guys. I bought him about 3 years ago from Designer Corals. I had to move him out when my purple tang was nipping at him and he went to a buddy's tank. Sadly that friend passed away. The clam made his way back into my possession and will be the star of the show.
Big shout out to Philrodrigo. You are always missed
