If the lineage of a Colorado Sunburst Anemone cannot be verified, but it checks all the boxes can it still be called a Colorado Sunburst? Looking for Yellow Tips and a Marbled foot but seller cannot trace it back to a reputable lineage. NOTE, it is not being sold at high end Colorado Sunburst price however. So can you call it a grade "B" or just unverified?

Here is some pics:

Ya I pretty much figured. Does the tips on this one look Yellow enough to be a Colorado Sunburst?

My question is - does it really matter? If you love a certain coral - it checks all of your boxes, do you care if it has traceable lineage to some person who named it to get maximum $s ? If you get it for less than the going rate for a certain named coral, and you really like how it looks, all the better.

i suppose that's how hobbyists could justify prices nowadays? if no lineage, then less likely to be willing to pay certain price tags compared to if they know/can source the lineage.

OP, i bought my CSBBTA from @Thirstysreef. grew suuuuper fast and was vibrant all the time. he is a very trustworthy vendor and is about the people(amazing customer support)!
