Compatibility for Agile Chromis

I currently have 2 Clowns, a Foyal Gramma and a Sapphire Damsel in a 40 Breeder. Would it be safe to add an Agile Chromis?

You can try it however I’d recommend two agile chromis as you already have 3 fish from the same family. And just to remain extra cautious this is one of the few cases I’d use an acclimation box.

I have 45g aquarium, 2 clown, 4 fire fish, blue sapphire damsel and 2 chromis. Altough damsel was last to introduce it has become very dominant and a bully, it particularly chases my chromis during feeding and also very agressive towards my pink turkey baster and plastic clear toothbrush.

It has started to intimidate my clowns which are much bigger so I will be removing and trading in.
It's a beautiful coloured fish, very dark when calm but tends to get lighter when agressive but for me, to keep peace it has to go.
Just a thought on my experience in last 4-5months of adding chromis with blue sapphire damsel :)

in a small set up, I would only recommend 1 of each species of chromis or damsel fish, are they will become very territorial and fight off the second individual. Even in large aquariums chromis schools end up as lone individuals. The good thing is they don't really consider other species as competition.
