I thought I read a long time ago that filefish might not get along with other species of filefish, but today I read they can.

Could I add a pair of Pygmy whitespotted filefish to 54 gal (65 w sump) tank with an aptasia eating filefish?

I might have figured out what I read, that aiptasia eating filefish can be aggressive to other species in their genus. The two I’m interested it are not in the same genus - so I should be ok, but certainly will wish to see if anyone has different experience / knowledge.

For what it’s worth, I have three (3) Aiptasia Eating Filefish in a shallow 6’ tank (90 gallon); they are all buddies.
