Why do wives name fish ?

My fiancé named a few .

The clown fish is mrs wiggles
The lawnmower blenny is rocky
Sand sifting goby is digger
Foxface kept his name

I have no idea why they do it....

Clowns - Bonnie & Clyde
YWG - Grumpy (because it looks like its frowning)

Worst part is I find myself calling them by the names then just smh
