Concerned with Pincushion Urchin

Good evening folks,
I've had my Pincushion Urchin for about a year now. I just noticed this red area on it's body this week and I'm wondering if it's something I should be concerned about. It looks damaged to me.

I’m not an expert, but is there anything in the tank that would harm it? What are your fish and inverts? It might have also just fallen.

That would concern me. Is there enough algae for it to graze on? Do you keep predatory fish?
I have the same urchin type. It eats Nori off a clip daily.

It's only a nano (26g) so I don't have room for really any predatory fish.
Current stock: pair of ocellaris, 1 pajama cardinal and 1 royal gramma. None has shown any aggressive patterns. I used to have a six line but it got stuck in the rockwork snd died a few months ago.

There is algae, but maybe there isn't enough anymore. I will put nori on a clip and see if it'll eat that.

It might take a time or two. Mine is in 14 gallon and there's definitely not enough to eat for an Urchin. It's actually amazing how much it does eat, almost continually. I feed every day. The one day I didn't the Urchin munched on my Xenia.

I was feeding nori to the tank pretty regularly (for my lawnmower blenny) when I had it, and I'd occasionally see the urchin picking at it. I haven't really used it again since, but I just put a piece on a clip this afternoon before going to work.

I'll keep an eye on it to see if it gets worse/better and update again. Hopefully its not life threatening.

Inverts: skunk cleaner shrimp, small peppermint shrimp, astraea, turbos, bumblebee snails, trochus, and nassarius snails. Sorry I thought I mentioned that in my previous post.
