No they don’t qt
Then like most LFS they probably get them in and push them out as fast as possible. If you are worried about introducing something to your tank only buy QT'd fish. If not and you want to risk it try and look the fish over as well as feasible.

I guess the real question is how much do I love my fish and I think I need to start looking at online vendors for qt fish! Ha

Tank transfer, takes 14 days and a couple 5 gallon buckets. Doing it right now to clear up ick on my fish. It’s not very popular on this forum. I can explain more if you want, but basically you’re just moving them from one tank to the next to outrun ick. There are modified ones that can treat flukes and velvet too

I have few LFS in my vicinity, one has got holding tanks connected to one circulation system and once one fish is infected, all are, so I never buy fish from them.
Other store has got several tanks on separate systems and they are a bit more pricey, so fish linger in their tanks in passive quarantine for weeks. If I buy fish, I do from that store and do additional passive QT at home. So far I was lucky.

"Conditioned" just means "we got this fish eating and looking OK", which isn't needed with captive-bred fish, which basically all clownfish are. They should come from the breeder already eating and looking OK.

Most stores run some copper in the fish only systems to keep parasites down

I asked both stores, none of them do, so I guess it depends. One guy told me they used to add Rally pro, but manager doesn't allow it anymore. I wouldn't count on LFS medication protocol, and you need to mantain therapeutic level consistently to have meaningful effect.

This is interesting to me because my stores do the same and I don’t know why I never thought this and they have 60+ tanks
