Condy anemone question

I have ha condy anemone I have it for 2 monthes or so and he has always Ben in the front of my tank and today when I woke up he was squished way in the back any ideas on why he would do this

Well my heater went a few weeks ago and killed most of my coralean algae then I hade and algae out brake and I'm trying to get it under controle and I have Ben doing water changes and I did 20% yesterday could that be why

Sounds like the whole ordeal might have upset him. Your water params ok while all this is going on? Algae outbreak usually means phosphate outbreak, and they don't much care for that.

My phosphate is ok it's my nitrate I'm trying to get under controle and why would if just be effecting him now
