Can t believe it...
This time it s an Erectus.
Nothing about maintenance, as the father is W.C by myself and at home for DNA sampling before release. He was already heavily pregnant so fry were already formed

It s has been about 6 months since « Vida » the 2 headed dwarf fry was born.
The chance to have 2 conjoined twins seahorse fry in 6 months, from 2 different species might be smaller than winning the powerball... (I should try to play...;Nailbiting)

Sorry to hear that. I followed the last birthing of the conjoined. I was hoping to see how this one faired. Third times a charm?

Interesting. I wonder if conjoined twins are relatively common in seahorses. Or, if they were WC maybe there's some pollution in the area that's increasing the rate of conjoined twins. Very interesting.

(There is a precident in pollution causing birth defects in aquatic organisms)

Did the first one die also? I remember you updating us that it was eating and even latching on to things.

Edit: I saw at the ebd of the old thread it died as well.

What do you do with all these horses? Are they interbreeding with siblings possibly? That could cause deformity like that.
