Connect calcium reactor

I have difficulties with calcium reactor connection. It has 1/4 rodi style input. I don't want to use another pump, would like to use main return line. My return has spare 1/2 line (reactor fitting). I have difficulties finding correct fitting reduction. Any advise? How do you connect yours?

This was the fitting. Apparently online you can only buy big lots but I got a single 1 for about $4 when I walked in.
