Any ideas? I’m looking for a nice way to mount my apex and a handful of other things like mp40 controllers etc.

Adaptive Reef's controller board seems to be the gold standard at the moment. That being said, I've seen some very nice DIY controller boards.
I just want the fit to look nice so I’ll have to do some measuring. I like them and don’t mind the price but I need to mount a bunch of stuff and I don’t want it to look a mess

I bought an adaptive reef board, when I got it I was thinking I could have built this myself. I made another one similar to theirs with half inch birch plywood. I should have used semi gloss black instead of flat but it turned out great. I even made the French cleat. I spent around $50, $32 for the 4x2 sheet of plywood, a can of paint, and the wire pass throughs.

I just built my own little cabinet. It was pretty cheap to do. My IM 50 Lagoon gets in this week!

Thanks! I ended up making one too! I suck with tools and it still came out okay (or at least I think so haha)
