Hello everyone.

This summer I am finally going to get my dream tank project off the ground. When I had my house built I designed the house to have an open floor plan between my living room and dining room for the sole purpose of having a large aquarium separating the two rooms. I have chosen to use a peninsula style aquarium. I have cad drawings and equipment lists ready to go. I currently have a full Hydros controller system set up on my current display tank. Once the new aquarium has been completed these other tanks will be taken down and the Hydros equipment will be moved to the new system. I have just learned about the Adaptive Reef V2 controller cabinet and I like it but I think the price is a bit steep. I was curious what other similar options are available for a controller cabinet? I am open to the possibility of even an Ikea cabinet that I can utilize. I would like to see and hear about your thoughts. Please post photos of your controller cabinet solution. Thanks.

Gordon.

You can make a DIY cabinet, but IMHO Adaptive Reef is the controller cabinet. Good luck with whatever you choose!

I think you do something better, the adaptive reef cabinet looks like a pain to unmount it if a power supply goes bad, they should have done a door instead of 2 covers
