Trying to decide on a package between an Apex JR + EB8 or Reefkeeper Titanium Elite Net... I've been running an Apex Jr before but wasn't thrilled about the interface or even reliability of always bringing up the dashboard, took a reload or two sometimes running the latest firmware.

Just brainstorming here.

Needs:
Temperature monitor & controller with fans and heaters
Email/Text alert and iPhone monitoring
2 stage T5HO and LED Moonlight control
Potentially control WP-25 pumps
Feeding control with shutdown and phased startup of Main pump + delayed skimmer

Outlets:
2 bulbs from ATI
6 more bulbs from ATI
LED Moonlight
Heater
Heater
Cooling Fan
Main Pump
Skimmer

Future Potential:
2x WP-25 powerheads
Additional LED supplemental lighting
UV Pump + Unit
Leak wetness Detection

Apex Jr + EB8: $380
Pros:
12 total outlets
Familiar with Neptune systems
Cons:
PH monitoring is an extra $100

ReefKeeper Elite Titanium Net: $380
Pros:
Can run temperature probe independently far away with iTemp to monitor another tank
Come with PH Probe and monitoring
Cons:
Not sure if computer and programming interface is better or worse than Apex
only 8 instead of 12 outlets, $100 more to match Apex

Sooo in the end, it seems to be a wash if I want the same number of outlets and ph monitoring.

Who has the better interface and more reliable unit?

I honestly would go for the Apex, especially given the "Apex Cloud" coming out later this year. It supposedly will simplify the heck out of programming/interfacing with other modules, etc. As for reliability, I've had to reboot my Apex once, but with their save feature it wasn't a problem doing it. I have the Apex Jr. (Without display) so rebooting was such a pain, but even still.. if I were to choose between the two.. I would go with Apex.
