Ok I'm in a bit of a conundrum as i have a 90 gal tank setup with all HOB/canister setup. But a local reefer is selling me a the exact same tank but drilled and a sump. Now my 90 has been running for a few months now (very little issues) and i recently just been adding a good amount of coral into it.

Would you switch everything over? I really want a sump setup but for the life of me cant figure out if its smart to do this. Or maybe wait and swap it out later. I want the tank in the exact same spot the current tank is in to so there's that to. Decisions.

The longer you wait, the more time you have wasted, imo.

Too bad the local reefer wasn't offering you the tank a few months earlier, but go for it and get what you want!

Just grow it: Have you ever added CO2 to your reef tank?
