Cooler days ahead: Do you make seasonal changes to your tank?

no changes- AC & heat stays the same inside the apartment and the little Oceanic BioCube stays a steady 75-80 it’s perfect

Since our house is climate controlled nothing changes enough for me to bother with

I don't do anything differently except maybe do a couple of extra water changes. I find that fall and spring I get a bit of cyano. Been happening for about 5 years now. Not sure what is actually causing it.. will last about 4 to 6 weeks and then goes away

It maybe colder out side but my tank temp stays the same all year round so it's no change from me . Except the electric bill goes up because the heater is Always on

Seasonal changes? In Scotland? Mate, we go through all of them in a day sometimes! Couldn't be keeping up with seasonal maintenance

I do change my main heater with my backup heater once every year though on 1st of November - but that's about it.

My home is always at the exact same temperature every hour of every day of the year. So no changes here.

As someone who lives in Florida... this isn't really all that true

Disagree. Today my 3mm wetsuit goes on the rack and my 5mm semi dry comes out. Prefer sweating over shivering.

Just changing the air conditioner settings. Set from "cool to 78" to "heat to 72". (Currently freshwater) aquariums get no change. Add a second ceramic heat bulb on lizard tank controller. Think that's about it.

I let my temps very up to 82 in the summer and down to 76 in the winter. this is just to save electricity and not run AC and heaters so hard.
