Copepod "Housing"?

For those who are "Home Culturing" Copepods, are you adding anything to your vessels to act as Pod Housing?

If so, what are you using and have you noticed any improvement in "Density" etc?

I've got 3 cultures "bare bottom" and one culture that has a "Pan Scrubby" in it for housing. What are YOU doing?

I have both amphipods & copepods in macro growout tanks.

With respect to “pod hotel” I like your “pot scrubby”; I use whatever I have on hand and put it in media bag that I keep in mature refugium. When I need to seed a new system, I move “pod hotel”.

What do you feed bare bottom copepod culture?

I feed all of my cultures Phyto that we culture. Mostly Nanno but we do mix in another strain now and again as well.
