Copepods

I have a question I n concerning breeding copepods?
Has anyone purchased on seen the infomercial for the mechanism that breeds an feeds copepods first is it worth it, is it a good thing to have if you been purchasing copepods?
Please reply if you have it looks ok im not sure

I don't know this one, but I know they have some fancy pants pod reproduction systems.... all you need is some type of container, I use a tupperware from the dollar store- and some phyto to feed them, and an airline is good to help move water around. Just look on youtube for diy copepods you will find lots of idea's, pick the one thats free IMO.

I have 150 gallon stock tank and two pumps with live rock(the real rock, im hopincthey are breeding in that i turn pumps off feed the phyo and seen that(fancy pants) as you say just wondering and your answer was the answer thanks

I’ve looked into these systems. They can definitely work, but you don’t really need a specialized machine to breed copepods. A basic container with saltwater, gentle aeration, phytoplankton and a starter culture will usually do the job for a lot less money.
