Copper Banded Butterfly Question

I recently purchased a healthy CBB from my LFS. He ate when offered food at the store, and has since been an absolute pig when I feed frozen Mysis Shrimp and frozen Hikari Mega-Marine Algae. I feed the Mysis when the lights turn on, and the Hikari before they turn off.

I guess my ask is if I should feed him anything else to give him a full, well-rounded diet?

(Side note: I have read that frozen or live clam is a staple in their diet, but I would prefer not to feed him that since I have a maxima clam that he hasn't touched yet, and I don't want him to acquire a taste for it lol...)

Does he eat the “algae” part of the mega marine? Mine will eat the plankton pieces but not the algae part where the rest of the ingredients are added.

He has been eating more and more of the algae part, although he seems to go after the plankton pieces more, and also doesn't devour the algae pieces as much as when I feed the mysis shrimp. I think he eats the algae mostly because my tang goes nuts for it, and my CBB is a pretty competitive feeder, but that's just my guess.
