Copper removal question

Okay so I picked up a tank with a bunch of live rock but the person I got it from put copper in it. I tossed the sand, put new rods water in it put new filter and cuprisorb in the hob filter.
My goal is the get the rocks usable again.
I tested the water yesterday with a Hanna copper tester and it was 0.00.
I'm wondering what the best way to go about testing would be? Should I turn off the filter for a week and then test to see if the rocks are slowly still leaching out copper?
I'm assuming that I got a 0.00 reading because the cuprisorb is picking up all the copper being leached so I'm not getting a accurate answer on if there is copper still.

You’re all good. Copper treatment is a finite amount of copper. The problem with copper in other tanks is because there’s a continuous source.

With copper power. You do water changes and using a metal absorber should lower the levels to safe.

I’m not sure the rock is that much live though, it’s really white so looks like not that old dry rock

Yeah I just have it in fresh water anyways so if it was live at all it isn't anymore. I just want it safe to use for a new tank in the future and maybe a couple pieces in my current dt
