They can potentially nip at corals and are not completely reef safe.

What types of LPS do you keep?

I have had great luck with my Copperband with my LPS and Clams.

I have an SPS only tank, I do have a Mushroom infestation from old rock I used. My CopperBand hasn't touched any of my corals. I did have a big Maxima Clam that I had for 8 years that mysteriously died a few days after I got him.

Lps and clams are the main risks when it comes to copperbands. I have personally not had issues but mine also does not eat aiptasia. It is really a gamble with them

usually not but no hard truths in the hobby. I've had many and none have ever tried any coral. One I had for about 10 years, maybe 11.
