Copperband care and concerns

My cbb started eating live black worms after a few tries. Have prazipro handy coz flukes are very common. Once it is eating lbw, try mysis with selcon/vitachem, live brine shrimp, etc. now my CbB loves masstick and its very easy to use for me. He eats like a pig now.

Mine is an eating machine and now even has begun eating pellets. I started what the heck easy reef which is a gel food that sticks to the glass. Took it 3 days and started grabbing the loose particles of it.
It looked at the nori but with so many tangs did not have a chance and it then went for Flakes but spit it out.
It was then i knew it was getting hungry.
I added LRS herbivore diet and BINGO. Now it eats anything and everything i feed which is 28 different foods.

hi welcome to the reef going to love it here!!
lots of fun/info/fun/help/fun...

Thank u for the advice. I will have to order some selcon bt i have noticed it eating frozen bloodworms i feed my tank with. Thanks again
Welcome to R2R!!! It’s always tricky getting a CB to eat. I always make sure they eat at the LFS before bringing them home. But if ordered online this isn’t possible. So I like to start with mysis and this is how I’ve got them to start. Then slowly mix in LRS with some selcon. Hope this helps.

Look for mastic reef food on the website link I sent

In the sea they live on worms and mine get worms a few times a week. The rest of the time they get clams and mysis. Good Luck and welcome.

Amazing tank and Copperband, quick question how do you feed it clams? Should I go to the grocery store and grab a couple fresh ones from the seafood department or buy them frozen on half shell like I see at my local LFS?
