Appreciate the kindness.

I think we'll do our fish from Biota next (Royal Gramma, Goby, maybe a Blenny), then see where that takes us.

Might try a Copperband again in a few months if things are still going well. It seemed like it would have been an awesome fish, had it survived.

Well,....here we go again.

now that we've got some Aptasia growing in the tank and are culturing copepods/phyto, figured it was worth trying again.

Copperband is in QT, but just ate several pieces of frozen PE Mysis, so here's hoping. Will let it stay in QT for 2-4 weeks and make sure it's eating well and plenty fat & happy before transferring to DT.

Can you pull a rock out of the DT with Aiptasia on it and get the fish accustomed to the snacks in the DT?

A few pieces of mysis isn’t much of an appetite. These fish are voracious eaters who take tiny amounts constantly.

Also, a picture of the new fish so you can tell if it’s gaining or losing weight in qt.

Good luck.

Yep I pulled a "copepod hotel" that had some aptasia growing and put it in (hopefully full of pods too!)

Will pull another rock if i see it nibbling

I have three CBB's. The one in my 180 at home while in QT would not touch Aptasia. Since being in my 180 has cleaned it out.
