Bought this guy about a month ago. Wild caught and wouldn't eat anything. I remembered a post ftom @Paul B about how much his likes clams/mussels. Took to it like a duck to water. Eats muscles,bloodworms,and blackworms now and getting fat. Plus no sign of disease at all. Now on to the power black covered in ich. UGH

You can shut the mussel with rubber bands, drill holes to the shell, and fill it with other foods to train CBB. That is how I trained mine.

I also trained my Copperband on clams. I still give him one a week. The other days he eats from the water column like the other fish and picks from the rocks.
