Recently got a leather and it is now moving on its own very slowly off of its frag plug. Heres a picture:
It does not look comfortable to me and i was wondering if anybody has any advice.

From what I see it looks like it's just "walking" to find better conditions. Lot's of soft corals/polyps will move to more favorable conditions, usually lighting. A pic from the front of the coral will help, but it's polyps look to be extended which is goood. I would leave it alone and let it do whatever it's doing.

Ok that helps alot, it even moves to a spot where it’s uncomfortable for a while? Its almost touching the sand

That may not be uncomfortable for it orr may be more comfortable than where it is. If that was in y system I would think it was looking for different lighting conditions.

Well, Xenia will walk and float everywhere even to lower light areas. :) When Toadstools "walk" they'll leave a thick trail of tisssue behind as they gradually move thier base. Finger type soft/leather may pinch off fingers that may settle near the parent.
